The outer fabric is a plain weave of pre-dyed wool and silk, washed and tumbled during production to enhance its texture. Blending the natural softness of wool with the gentle sheen and crisp touch of silk, it offers a distinctive, cool hand with an elevated finish.

SAGE DE CRET was launched by the Director Kimitoshi Chida in 2001. The brand name is a coinage using the two words “sage” and “decret” which means “sensible” and “order” respectively in French.
