Description

Born in 1960 and worn everywhere since. The 1460 boot returns in a soft Wild Grain leather, a textured hide that breaks in easily and wears naturally, developing character with time. Finished with tonal leather laces, contrast stitching and a leather welt that sharpens the upper against Dr. Martens iconic bouncing sole, it's hardwearing from the ground up.

Although the first official Dr. Martens boot, the 1460, hit the market on April 1, 1960, the boot brand's legacy stretches back to 1901 with the bootmaking Griggs family. Dr. Martens' innovative air cushioned soles originated separately in 1945 with an invention by Dr. Klaus Maertens. Loved for their long-wearing comfort, Dr. Martens have become an iconic symbol of self-expression, adopted by countless artists and subcultures.
